Artist Statement

I cut, shape, and join wood. Wood brings warmth to a space, and I try to bring that warmth and natural movement out in each piece.

Light plays an integral role in how I shape the wood. The movement of sunlight throughout the day creates unique, ever-changing perspectives to enjoy.

In crafting these pieces, I explore the relationship between maker and material, and the relationship of humans to our environment.
